The Blessed Nest blossomed from my passion for serving others during a vulnerable time after life-changing event such as a divorce, loss of a loved one, a young Mama with three little ones under 4, a child going off to college. All with the same need to be better organized, remove unused items from their homes and storage areas allowing for more of a serene space.

Most people have belongings that they have accumulated over many years. These pre-loved and pre-used items once brought joy at the time of purchase and over time during use at one time and have now found their way into stuffed closets, under beds, above in attics, filling garages or being paid for monthly in off-site storage units. Sometimes these items are not seen or touched in years never to be used again and this brings great stress and anxiety to other family members especially of the elderly, and costs money for a place outside of our home filled with stuff to house more stuff.

I have walked along side family and friends who have had to downsize because of divorce, moving and needing to downsize.

Also having walked along side of my dear friends whose ones have passed away. I found myself offering them my love and support through side by side downsizing, reminiscing during the downsizing process with compassion, care and encouragement. When downsizing and getting rid of our belongings it is emotional however this process can be done with love and support. ​

My heart is to assist individuals and families to begin the downsizing process before a loved one passes away this way personal possessions can be lovingly gifted to friends or family members, donated to organizations that will ReHome to those in need, or written down in a Will with your directives. Items can also be brought to donation centers that assist non-profits or consignment shops.
